Australian cattle dog
The Australian cattle dog is a medium dog with a wither height of 44 cms. Its hard coat, short hair and thick, has a double coat. The Australian cattle dog colors are: Blue, blue mottled, blue speckled or red speckled, with or without other brands.
Australia is a breed developed to work with farmers on this continent, from the beginning of 1800, settlers from Australia began to create a breed of dog to help gather and move cattle wild, so it had to be strong, energetic and capable of biting. Were then combining the features of the Dingo, Kelpie and Collie Highland for a very intelligent dog, active, for grazing.
The breed was approved by the Kennel Club of New South Wales in 1903
To be in a home needs lots of space and company should not be alone for several hours as it began to feel frustrated and destructive behaviors.
